Online Data Capture
MurrayData provide three types of online systems for customers. The first is an extension of the ParSystem paper system. The second is a testing and assessment solution called The Test Factory, and the third is a survey and questionaire solution called eListen.
ParTest Online compliments the ParSystem suite of products by allowing students to take tests created in ParTest using a computer. ParTest Online consists of two applications that work in unison : TestManager and TestLauncher. Users control when students can take a test, and what options are available. Multimedia and graphic files are supported. Students may view their test results on the computer screen and receive a print out. The Test Factory solution has everything you need to create questions, compile and set tests, assign tests then analyse and report on test results, all from a web browser. It is probably the simplest and most user friendly system we have ever come across, yet does not lack the features needed in a comprehensive system. If you need an online examinations system, for your students revision or ongoing learning, or even for your staff compliance for core skills, then this may be exactly what you have been looking for.
The third solution is certainly an online survey system, but has the added functionality that allows for paper survey data capture also. Known as eListen, this system is modular in design, so it can scale from local to global reach quite easily. Design of survey or questionnaire is intuitive and straightforward, with publishing steps clearly laid out. Captured data can be exported in a raw fromat for your own analysis or processed and reported on as part of the features of the overall package. Excellent for student evaluations or staff feedback.
