OMR Survey Software

When some people use the word survey in connection with data capture, others use words such as questionnaire, feedback or even evaluation. From our perspective, we understand what customers are talking about, and look to provide the best software for the job at hand. In many cases, this leads us to provide a simple OMR software solution called SpeedQuest.

This useful OMR software tool communicates with various OMR scanners directly and captures the data after each page is scanned. It allows for overprinting of '20:20' forms, or in other words, forms which already have timing tracks and boxes for cusomers to overprint their questions into. as their name suggests, they can accomodate 20 questions on one side of the form and 20 on the reverse.

This is not all, however, as the SpeedQuest will also scan and capture data from pre-designed forms, as long as this form has been decoded so that the software knows where to look on the form for marks (or no marks).

The OMR software also comes with a simple reporting function, which provides bar and pie charts, or tabular data. If you have your own data analysis package, such as SPSS or similar, you can easily export the data from SpeedQuest in a format such as CSV, and import them directly into your own package.
