If only life was as simple as pressing the red 'help' key on the keyboard, as shown in the picture. But life is never that simple, is it?
As with almost any hardware and software provider, we are going to give you the same advice in terms of things to try before calling or emailing your problem. Save yourself the embarassment of the classic 'schoolboy error' by following the five simple steps before getting in touch:
1 - Check that the power is switched on to all devices. If we had a pound for every time.....
2 - Turn the power off for 10 seconds, then switch all devices back on. The tried an tested engineers solution.
3 - Make sure the leads between devices have not come lose or been disconnected for any reason. It is easily done by vibration, one lead pulling on another, inadvertent nudge...etc.
4 - Check all usernames and passwords have been typed in correctly into software applications and online systems.
5 - With paper froms, especially OMR, make sure the paper is the right way up and that the timing marks on the sheet are on the correct edge of the intray.
